Lit & Luz Live Magazine Show: Cross-cultural experimentations between artists and writers on stage

The Live Magazine Show is the Lit & Luz Festival of Language, Literature, and Art’s signature program. Each year, Lit & Luz supports the creation of new collaborative artworks between writers, artists, and musicians from Chicago and Mexico that debut at the show. The pieces are presented in both Spanish and English and include storytelling, music, poetry, video art, and extemporaneous performances that explore the relationship between the languages, art forms, social issues, and cultures of the United States and Mexico through this year’s theme: “Edge/Borde.”

Lit & Luz Live Magazine Show: colaboraciones escénicas entre escritorxs y artistas

El Live Magazine Show es el programa medular del Festival Lit & Luz de Lengua, Literatura y Arte. Cada año Lit & Luz apoya la creación de trabajos artísticos colaborativos entre escritorxs, artistas visuales y músicxs de Chicago y México que se presentan durante el evento. Las piezas se presentan en inglés y español e incluyen historias, música, poesía, videoarte y performances extemporáneas que exploran la relación entre las lenguas, formas artísticas, problemas sociales y culturas de Estados Unidos y México mediante el eje temático de este año: “Edge/Borde.”
