The Lit & Luz Collaboration Cohort is composed of artists, writers, performers, and musicians from Mexico and the US. They are invited based on the theme of the current festival cycle, their body of work, as well as their interest in building communities through cultural exchange and collaboration. They are paired off to create new work collaboratively, which is debuted at the Chicago Live Magazine Show—the festival’s signature event. The 2026 Chicago Live Magazine Show will take place at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Friday November 13, 2026, and again at the Museo Universitario del Chopo the following spring on Saturday March 6, 2027 during the Mexico City leg of the 2026-27 festival. 

El Grupo de Colaboración de Lit & Luz está conformado por artistas, escritores, performers y músicos de México y Estados Unidos. La selección del grupo  se basa en el tema del ciclo de este festival, en  su obra y en su  interés por  construir comunidades a través del intercambio cultural y la colaboración. 

Los artistas seleccionados se organizan en dúos para crear obras en colaboración que se  presentan en el Live Magazine Show de Chicago, el evento representativo del festival. El Live Magazine Show de Chicago 2026 tendrá lugar en el Museum of Contemporary Art el 13 de noviembre de 2026, y nuevamente en el Museo Universitario del Chopo el sábado 6 de marzo, 2027, durante la edición de la Ciudad de México del festival 2026-27.
