The Lit & Luz Collaboration Cohort is composed of artists, writers, and musicians from Mexico and the US. They are invited based on the theme of the current festival cycle, their body of work, as well as their interest in building communities through cultural exchange and collaboration. They are paired off to create new work, collaboratively, that is debuted at the Chicago Live Magazine Show—the festival’s signature event. The 2023 Chicago Live Magazine Show takes place at the Museum of Contemporary Art, October 21st and again at the Museo Universitario del Chopo the following winter during the Mexico City leg of the 2023-24 festival.

El Grupo de Colaboración de Lit & Luz está conformado por artistas, escritores, y músicos de México y Estados Unidos. Su invitación está basada en el tema del ciclo de este festival, el conjunto de su obra, así como su interés en construir comunidades a través del intercambio cultural y la colaboración. Fueron puestos en parejas para crear una obra nueva, colaborativamente, que es estrenada en el Live Magazine Show de Chicago, el evento representativo del festival. El Live Magazine Show de Chicago 2023 tendrá lugar en el Museum of Contemporary Art el 21 de octubre, y nuevamente en el Museo Universitario del Chopo el invierno siguiente, durante la edición de la Ciudad de México del festival 2023-24.
