Stefania Gomez

Stefania Gomez is a 2025 Luminarts Fellow in Poetry and a 2023 Fulbright Research Award Grantee, and a finalist for the 2024 Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Fellowship. She has received additional fellowships from the Dirt Palace, Sewanee Writers Workshop, Lambda Literary, and the International Quilt Museum. She received her MFA in poetry at Washington University in St. Louis and is currently a PhD candidate in English at the University of Illinois at Chicago.


Stefania Gómez ha sido ganadora de la Beca Luminarts de Poesía 2025 y de la Beca Fulbright de Investigación 2023, y finalista de la Beca de Poesía Ruth Lilly y Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg 2024. También ha sido merecedora de otras becas, por ejemplo la del Dirt Palace, del Sewanee Writers Workshop, de Lambda Literary y del International Quilt Museum. Obtuvo su MFA en poesía por parte de la Universidad Washington de San Luis y actualmente es candidata al doctorado en literatura inglesa por parte de la Universidad de Illinois en Chicago.
