Shelby Marie Edwards

Shelby Marie Edwards (she/her/hers) is a Chicago-based development and non-profit professional with just under ten years of experience in the sector. Shelby has worked as an Executive Director, a Chief Development Officer, and Director of Individual Giving, bringing expertise in the areas of major donor cultivation, individual giving, grant writing, and overall fundraising strategy. Shelby has a Master’s from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Shelby also works as a full-time performer and can be seen acting, teaching, writing, and performing across the city. In her free time, Shelby enjoys the simple pleasures of life, like walking along the lakefront, listening to live music, going to farmers' markets, and walking her dog, Mr. Ashe.
