Kit Schluter

Kit Schluter is a Boston-born poet and translator whose recent books include the short story collection Cartoons (City Light, 2024) and the first English translations of Copi's City of Rats (New Directions, 2026), bruno darío's Lantana trilogy (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2025). He has long lived in Mexico City where he coordinates design for Nightboat Books and recently founded the small press La Barba Metafísica.

Kit Schluter es un poeta y traductor nacido en Boston, entre cuyas obras recientes se encuentran la colección de relatos Cartoons (City Light, 2024) las primeras traducciones al inglés de La ciudad de las ratas, de Copi (New Directions, 2026) y la trilogía Lantana, de Bruno Darío (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2025). Reside desde hace tiempo en Ciudad de México, donde coordina el diseño de Nightboat Books y donde recientemente ha fundado la editorial independiente La Barba Metafísica.
