Ana Everling

Vocalist and storyteller Ana Everling crafts a sonic bridge between ancestral tradition and the reclamation of a Romanian cultural heritage within the Republic of Moldova once targeted for systemic erasure.

Everling’s journey is one of preservation and international reach. In 2023, Moldovan President Maia Sandu awarded her the title of Artist Emerit in recognition of her high achievements and her dedication to representing the country’s culture abroad. Her 2024 vinyl release, Pui de Dor, features authentic folklore and recovered repertoire; its global impact was solidified when a standout track was selected for a Putumayo World Music compilation. An official artist at So Alive, Folk Alliance International and SXSW, she has performed on prestigious stages including Lincoln Center in New York and the Chicago Symphony Center.
